2. A fantastic, hours-long chat on Twitter largely based out of empathy and compassion about the difficulties that can arise when blogging negatively affects our social and family lives
3. A long-distance phone call with a dear, old friend that made me remember the real power of connection
4. Getting a taste of some quality, deep sleep after along drought
5. Cuddling with a little puppy who suckled momentarily on my chin
