Three scoops of ground, dark roast coffee goes into the french press:



The french press is filled with boiling water:



I wait for four minutes:



I plunge the filter:



I pour the coffee into my favourite mug with the orange glaze inside:



I inevitably spill some coffee on the counter:



I doctor my coffee with some cream and a touch of yellow sugar:



I drink it up:



I even go so far as to strain the last of it through my teeth:
