I'm In Best Health Magazine. Booyah.
Friday, February 24, 2012
See that down there? That's me next to Andrea of A Peek Inside the Fishbowl in the latest edition of Best Health magazine's article "Blogging for Dollars":
I was interviewed way back in 2011, so I almost forgot this was happening, and then I completely forgot what I'd said, because it came as a bit of a shock to this anxious, non-religious person that I quoted the Bible, of all things, and spoke about my wisdoms about fear.
It's strange to see myself staring back at me from a glossy magazine page, so I'm going to go clean a toilet and recalibrate.

Hey, we'll all soon be saying "We knew her when ..."
You go, girl!!
Will you be able to reprint the text of the interview or point to it online?
I hear you south Saskatchewaners are getting a snowstorm today. Batten down the hatches!
Stubblejumpin Gal, I have no idea about the online link, but I'm going to keep checking. You can pick up a copy at Shoppers, though.
Aw, congratulations! And I love the refreshed design, too.
Congrats!
My 7yo was beside me reading this and he wanted to know if you knew that "Shmutz" was a Yiddish word for small amounts of dirt. I said you probably did. "Shmutzie" to him means a little dirty.
urban daddy, and so it does! My mother was forever muttering about schmutz as she wiped it off my face when I was a kid, and it ended up being a nickname of mine in my 20s.
Congratulations ... it's nice to see great Canadian bloggers getting well deserved recognition.
You look pretty in that picture. And that must be a strange experience.
OH MY GOD I DID NOT MEAN THAT IT WOULD BE A STRANGE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU TO LOOK PRETTY.
Aaaah! That sounds terrible. I was just thinking these two totally SEPARATE thoughts.
One was (1) You look very pretty in that picture. (2) It must be really weird to read an interview with yourself and then not remember what you said in the interview.
DOH! I'm sure you would not misinterpret me but just in case!
cool! Congrats :)
