I have a long history with “Over the Rainbow,” the Academy Award-winning song from The Wizard of Oz with music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg. I grew up watching and rewatching the movie, fascinated by Dorothy’s ability to enter completely different realities. Even when she comes back home at the end of the movie, her world is new to her again!
