Grace in Small Things: Sunday Edition #112
Sunday, October 7, 2012
- This part of fall when the grass is still green but there are leaves strewn everywhere
- That my grandmother was able to pass on peacefully after a very good life
- Fresh laundry in my drawers and cupboards
- That my new neighbourhood is proving to be such a nice little corner of the world.
- That we're almost half way to my 40th birthday goal to give 40 people access to clean water! Want to join in?

Love the changing of the leaves and working on getting the laundry in the drawers.
I felt inspired do an antipodean version:
1. This part of spring where the bright green leaves seem to glow.
2. That my grandmother lives on beyond the grave, her loving and generous spirit seems to seep out of people when they talk about her.
3. The scent of laundry sun dried to a crisp.
4. That my little neighbourhood seems to be regaining its sense of community.
5. That I am part of a programme providing clean water for people.
Of all these, the one about your grandmother made my eyes burn and sting.
So sorry.
Grace in small things: when I feel the air on my hair, and the sun in front of my eyes... A little bit of rain in the fall, and a lot of leaves on the floor, I feel Happy, I feel Alive! Fall is the most wonderful season of all!!!
