Weblog Links From Business Cards That Made It Home In My Luggage From BlogHer '11
Wednesday, August 10, 2011
The fact that I alphabetized the following list of weblog links from business cards I received at BlogHer '11 is proof positive that I am anally retentive:
The Adventures of Lesalina
Attack of the Redneck Mommy
Band Back Together
Chubby Mommy Running Club
Conversations with Myself
#FreeAnissa
GreekMomma
Jurgen Nation
The Lost In Suburbia Blog
Orange Dragonfly
Pepperjam
Suebob's Red Stapler
Susan Fujiki (dot) com
Wave the Stick
Whipstitch
I swear that I was given more business cards than this over the course of BlogHer '11, because I saw hundreds of you there. I think my hotel bed ate them.
If we met at BlogHer, and I didn't get your card, or I apparently lost it to the hotel laundry, throw out your name and url in the comments!

I didn't give you another card this year because I've met you plenty of times before. However, I definitely talked to you!
One of my regrets this year was not coming up to say hi... I saw you at the Brene Brown panel and thought "oh, maybe I'll say hi later in the serenity suite" but the opportunity never arose. I've got to meet all my Canadian blog peeps one of these days....
Loved meeting and chatting with you at the Twitterholics panel. That panel ended up being the highlight of my time at BlogHer. Glad I made the list of cards you kept, but hey, how could you forget the girl who came from the random town that your husband stayed at. THAT was insane.
I saw you a couple of times and wanted to introduce myself, but I didn't want to interrupt the conversations you were having. I'll say hello now. I wanted to tell you in person how brave I think you are in your sobriety. You are am inspiration!

We kinda met. I was sitting beside Tanis on the WestJet flight from San Diego to Calgary. I was the one with "first BlogHer glow". :)
Hahaha. I remember giving you one in the serenity suite right before your Twitteraholics talk. Then again there were cake balls...so cards became an ancient memory.
I have literally three from people I didn't already know. That's sad. (I met tons of new people, I just either already read them, or forgot to ask for cards.)
Oh, hi.
Oh, man, I'm sure I gave you mine in our little pre-BlogHer meet, greet and Starbucks! Didn't I? Sigh. Wait, you didn't use it to clean spinach out of your teeth with it, did you? Damn it. Next year I'm handing out business cards AND toothpicks. New BlogHer strategy, and I have a feeling it's a winner.
Just kidding.
Cheers, lady. Had great fun meeting you. See ya next year. ; )
Every time I meet you at a Blogher we're on our way to or from something. Last year it was waiting for the final keynote while we were both, I think, coming from or heading to grab one last snack to see us through and this year it was as we rushed in to claim prime seats to hear Gretchen Rubin and Brene Brown and Gluten Free Girl and Mr. Lady speak. Never a business cardy time. Just means we're having fun, I guess.

As always, I LOVED seeing you. Alas, there is never enough time to visit. I spent lots of time with people that I didn't get their cards as well. There's always NYC, right?
