I've Gone Objectum-Sexual* For A Nikkor Lens

Tuesday marked my two-week anniversary since I quite smoking, and the Palinode, being an excellent specimen of spousery, presented me with a 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor lens for my Nikon D60.

I very nearly swooned.

Here are a few of my first attempts:

Kat

Guinness

Stacy

Aleigh

Ted

I think I'm in love with yet another inanimate object.

* Objectum-sexuals are individuals "...who fall in love with inanimate objects, like building, cars, and Hammond organs."

Is the last person a man or a woman? If it's a woman, I want her! What a face.

I think that lens just took your photography to a new level. Seriously. The image of Ted is amazing.

Anonymous, if that is your real name, that last person is obviously a man. Sheesh.

I pink puffy heart my nifty fifty. Although most of the time my 55-250 is attached, when I want to play with the pets or portraiture, the 50mm is what I go to. And it ROCKS in the dark...

Fourteen more reasons to be proud of you, besides Marcello and GiST. I kind of want you to come visit my blog to see the butter cow picture but I feel ashamed of my photography skills. Not lung butter, just cow butter.
