Grace in Small Things: Part 365 of 365
Sunday, November 22, 2009 1. The therapist who sent me down this path
2. The Ning network for supporting Grace in Small Things
3. That well over one thousand members have made and will continue to make GiST one of the happiest and warmest little social networks on the internet
4. That when I began this project, I felt fairly defeated, but that now, a year later, I have 1825 things from my daily lists to prove that I am not
5. That making this final point in my last public, daily GiST list is so difficult
----------------------------
This has been an incredible year in some ways, and I will write more about my year with Grace in Small Things soon. I just wanted to let everyone who participated in any way — be it as a daily/weekly/monthly/one-time participant, a commenter, or a well-wisher — know that you helped make my year and the years of everyone like you who became a part of GiST, and even those who have yet to join. Thank you.
Also, let me assure you that I will continue to be a presence at GiST making my occasional lists, sending out our Monday newsletters, and checking in on all of you. GiST will live long and prosper!
Wage a battle against embitterment and take part in Grace in Small Things.

I hope you will consider talking more about what it did for you...I am curious about it.
Wow, is this the end of GiST? How could that be (says the person who could not do it). I think that was an opportunity missed for me. But maybe I can do my own lists in the future.
Ozma, this is not an opportunity missed. GiST continues, so start now, or in three months, or next year. It will still be http://graceinsmallthings.ning.com/" rel="nofollow">here.
Thank-You...
You are an insiration!
(((hugs)))
Thanks for GiST! I am on my 112th day and love doing the posts. I actually think when I am done with 365 days, I will start over. It's been such a wonderful thing for me to think of all the great things that happen each day.
You have helped many people with this website and this grand idea. It may have seemed small in the beginning, but your hard work has paid off and touched all of us making these daily lists.
Thank you!
Wow, you did it. You climbed the Mt. Everest of Thankfulness.
Whoot!
I love your lists.
I am so proud of you! It was a great idea and I'm thrilled that I was able to watch your journey. I can actually see, in your posts, that you have transformed. And through your transformation you have helped me to see the grace, too. Job well done.
Thank you for the little bit of inspiration.
You really are an inspiration. You make the Internet a prettier place to hang out.
Yay. The long Suebobian nightmare is over! I can come back and read Schmutzie again. God, I am a horrible person. But you knew that.
You are the best. And look how it changed you. You stopped smoking, you made a video of yourself, you bared your cleavage for all, you've giving interviews on radio. You have become a changed woman in the course of a year.
:) You know that you will have to start again, don't you? Thank you for introducing me to GiST.
I'm SO glad you started GiST! I'm no longer posting mine publicly (hello blown up blog!), but I'm so appreciative GiST!!!
I have to admit that I'm hoping you keep doing it on a very regular basis. I've really enjoyed seeing what you've listed. You've really reminded me that each day there are small good things that I should pay attention to. No day is all bad.
Anonymous, I am planning on still doing it once a week here, so not to worry. I won't quit completely.
I was jogging in the sun by the river today and thought of you, and GiST. I've never written anything down but your challenge has become like a daily meditation for me. More thanks, and many congratulations for your transformation.
how wonderful. i've been waiting for #365. i bet that last one was bittersweet. hard to write because it was the end, but lovely that you accomplished so much in the last year.
congratulations! what a fantastic accomplishment. xo
