My New Joy In iPhone Photography
Monday, October 26, 2009 I've been getting into taking photographs with my iPhone, because with the help of a few apps, they can turn out far moodier than you would think possible, like this one of a fall street I took a couple of weeks ago.
Here is how I achieved the look of the above photo of the Palinode with his iPhone:
One thing I did not expect when I purchased my iPhone is that I would use it as a second camera, but it's proved to be a welcome addition to my arsenal.
If you have an iPhone and have gotten creative with the picture-taking end of its abilities, let me know what applications you use. My addiction needs feeding.

man, I have a Blackberry Storm and I only have iPhone envy when it comes to the camera apps!! Damn it Blackberry, get with the Ps program!! //end whine
I had no idea there were so many different apps. That makes me want an iPhone even MORE!
THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I have also been using my iPhone as a backup camera as well and the amount of times I've ended up with a crap picture are too numerous to count.
I'm a convert.
Thanks for posting this! I've been struggling with getting my iPhone photos to look halfway decent.
I knew -- the minute I heard you got an iphone -- that you would end up playing with the camera apps.
Cool. Cool. Cool.
I love all the extra apps you can get for the iPhone. I've been thinking about getting one since I need to replace my old Razor.
My question is - is the iPhone a good phone on top of all the cool gadgets?
Surely, then, you've heard of Chase Jarvis?
Kristi, I hadn't heard of him until now, but thanks for pointing him out! http://www.chasejarvis.com/index.php#mi=2&pt=1&pi=10000&s=0&p=5&a=0&at=0
