Robots!

For the last week or so, I have had a masthead showing off my mother-in-law's crying cat:

It dawned on me that some people might not want to stare into the face of a cat with chronic sinus infections, so I let my mind wander over images for the last several days to see if something would catch my interest. As you can see, robots stuck:

I wanted to capture a 1920s-ish aesthetic, nausea in the face of technology's inhumanity, and just a touch of cuteness. I think I did it.

Robots! Liver! Existential angst!

I <3 botz!

Seriously, Golden Age sci-fi robots are one of my favorite aesthetics.

I love the new header!! I'm not an animal person, but I really didn't mind (and kind of liked) the cat masthead.

I do like the new masthead, but the last one made me laugh so much. The french subtitle was perfect.
