50x365 #203:  Bradley

My mother babysat you. You were too shy to talk to me, but when I took a nap, you'd sneak up to the bed, crawl onto it, and cuddle your soft Downs body against mine. Your warmth, your total acceptance, was divine. You softened my heart when it was hardening.

I am a participant in x365.

so beautiful. I think yours are my favorite x365s ever. You make me want to get back to doing my own...maybe one of these days if I can find the list again. But I'll start over and work on finding the good. I'm so ready to stop the internal loop of sarcasm.

Have you had other experience with Down Syndrome children/people? My daughter is 8 and she has always had such a great cuddle! i remember, even as an infant she had a special way of molding her body to ours. I thought all babies were like that until afterwards, when I held a non-Downs baby, I realized that they were stiff as boards compared to her! It's the low muscle tone but it feels wonderful. My friends ask her for "therapy" hugs even now.

This is beautiful. As usual, you so make my day when I see these from you.
