The Thinking Blogger Award

Wilma from Death Bed Moment has bestowed upon me the Thinking Blogger Award, which originated from The Thinking Blog. Thank you, Wilma!
This might explain the headaches I have every day. It is this damnable thinking I do.
Actually, it is so nice to get this type of award at this time of year*, because it gives me some faith in the fact that, yes, I do have a brain in this oversized cranium of mine, and that, yes, it did function at one time, and that, yes, it may function again at some point in the future. Late winter pretty much disables my ability to think complex thoughts.
This is why I have taken to knitting a scarf with the complex pattern of Knit 1, Purl 1, Knit 1, Purl 1, etcetera for several feet running. I know I am in rough shape when I define back-to-back Law & Order episodes as my "smart" television for the evening. I have not worn matched socks in weeks, because I find the sock drawer confusing.
We have it on Wilma's authority, though, that I am Thinking Blogger, so I am going to take her word for it and just assume that a large portion of my brain is taking a warm vacation underneath one of our radiators.
There are only three simple rules that go with this award:
So, the only thing left for me to do is bestow this fine award on five others. I have given this award to others before, so I may accidentally give it to someone a second time, but what was good once is also good twice, right? The following five are people that I, without a doubt, admire for their brains:
