Up With Linking

I think that we can all relate to this beautiful Thanksgiving post.

GenderAnalyzer will guess whether the author of a weblog is male or female. It is 92% certain that I am female, which I am.

Call in gay on December 10th.

Bacon cookies.

Chuck Klosterman reviewed Guns N' Roses new album, "Chinese Democracy".

"Haste, Scorned: Blogging at a Snail’s Pace" is one of the latest stories in the New York Times online that puts an article about blogging in the style section. I wish that they'd quit doing that already.

Fecal transplants!

"Infinity's Kitchen is a graphic literary journal featuring experimental writing and art. The publication is online and in print. We'd like to cook up a tasty mishmash of words, sounds and images, using whichever ingredients seem best."

This dog's Loony-Toons-esque love of snow lightened my spirit.

Fotie Photenhauer wants us to overcome our "initial hesitation" and get cooking with semen already. I don't think so, Fotie.

We might be welcoming back the woolly mammoth.

Do you like automatic clothes washing machines, dryers and dishwashers? Are you a collector of antique and vintage automatics? Do you like to do laundry and dishes? Automatic Washer has what you hanker for.

Enter you website url into Typealyzer and see what it says about you.

I'm not sure what it is with me lately, but I've got chickens on the brain. I just found out last night that my city's laws state that each home is allowed two chickens, which would completely rock my little world if I did not live in an apartment, so I will have to content myself with looking at pictures of them and dreaming about receiving boxes of baby chicks in the mail. And watching videos that showcase their incredibly stable heads:

Sorry I haven't been here much lately. I love the new banner, and I hope you are well. It's as cold here as it is where you are, I bet! Brrrr.

I love linking. Genderanalyzer thought I was a man (79%) but I'm not ...Hmm.

My birthday is call in gay day. That is the bestest present from the universe, ever.

The gender analyzer correctly guessed that my blogged was penned by a woman, but there's another online gender determiner (determinator?) thing called "the gender genie" where you can enter a bunch of text be it blog, poetry, fiction... and that one always pegs me as male.

My blog (http://cecilieaux.blogspot.com/" REL="nofollow">Shavings Off My Mind comes out female and, per my blog, my alleged type ISTP (Intuitive Sensing Thinking Perceiving). I'm a male INFP.

I must be one of a kind, not easily typed.

Fun links ... thanks for sharing!
The Gender Analyzer pegged me as 'written by a woman (57%) however it's quite gender neutral' on both my Blogger sites. Interestingly, when I entered my URL for the new site on WordPress it gave me an error message saying it could only read blogs written in English. I wonder what happened there?

The Typealzer was fun too ... each blog came up a bit differently and none my 'actual' Temperament Type.

I really LOVED the video with the dog running through the snow and may share it on one of my blogs soon ... just because.

Hugs and blessings,

You outdid yourself in your new banner.

I am apparently a man (88%) and a "Guardian" type. Hmm.

Genderanalyzer thought my website was 63% written by a man. It's written by three women. That's odd.

My 15-y-o son is recently obsessed with owning chickens. Maybe it's the recession tugging at our DNA. I'd much rather trade the chickens for magic beans, though. That sounds like more fun and less poop.

chickens=awesome.

Apparently my blog pegs me as a ENSP (almost total opposite of my usual INFJ), who is 78% female.. lol

December 3, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterChurchPunkMom

lol... i entered one of my other blogs and it said i am 86% male and an ISFJ.

wow.. i have multiple personalities.. and genders!

The gender analyzer was definitely fun but based on the survey - it looks like it's pretty much random chance whether it's right or not. I especially liked that www.snydeysense.com only got 52% male and I got 79%. Last time I looked, he was more male than me (although these days, I may be more hirsute).

A snow-tunneling dog AND a chicken head-stabilizing lesson? WHAT A DAY!
