Grace In Small Things: Part 22 of 365
Sunday, December 14, 2008 1. -45° weather is so cruel that it verges on beautiful.
2. I have managed to keep two whole houseplants alive for over a year.
3. I feel sexier more often than I have in the last two years.
4. Tangled masses of yarn were wrangled into tidy piles of colourful balls.
5. Lying in bed with a trashy magazine in the middle of the night now feels just like it did when I would hide under the covers reading after lights out as a kid.
Wage a battle against embitterment and take part in 365 days of Grace in Small Things.

beuatiful like the painful act of birht is beautiful.
blech - It's long and bloody and gross.
ahhh it's gross - got it!
i kinda love it when you walk outside and the air is so cold that it shocks your lungs and leaves you almost breathless... and the best part of all of that? going back inside and feeling all warm and toasty.
I love how sound carries in this bitter cold - especially the crunch of snow under my feet.
you'll have to explain # 3. why the change of heart? what happened? is it an age thing?
i'm glad for you!
Hi Schmutzie. I am a weather weenie who lives in CA. It is approximately 45 degrees here and I am wearing 14 layers of blankets and am blowing a hair dryer on me to stay warm. I believe that's called being giant baby.
Just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying your Grace in Small Things project. Do you happen to know who else is doing it? I love reading yours. Is there a list going somewhere?
And get down with your sexy self. That's fabulous.
Thanks again,
Shea
Shea, there is no official list, but if you go to this Google search, you'll find a lot of them:
