Rats!
Thursday, October 2, 2008 I got it into my head to look up all things rat on Etsy last night. I am not sure why. I am not especially fond of rats. They are too pointy, and their eyes look like tight bubbles that could burst open.
This one looks pretty cute, though. He comes from The House of Mouse, and his name is Voldemouse.

Vegan rat soap from Sherri's Scents and Soys!

Mr Pink Mohair Needle-Felted Outsider Folk Art Rat Mouse from 425 Square Foot Art almost makes me want to rethink my thoughts about rats, but then he's missing those fish egg eyes that they normally have, so he's misleading.

I like the woman's eyes in this painting, "The Opening Act", from Lilies and Ether.

This rat and buddha printed t-shirt from Villavillakula is rather nice, although patterns like that sometimes don't wear well over my boobs.

Then there is this rat mug from Aaron Sober Ceramics. I can't decide if I would like to drink my coffee out of it, but I like the sketchy look of him.

I think this Rat Bastards journal is just brilliant. It is from Strong Arm Bindery. It makes me want to use one to make a running daily list of rat bastards old and new. We all have a list of those in our heads, don't we?

that mannequin with the rat t-shirt doesn't have any pants on. Why am I disturbed by that?
Thanks for this. Some great gift ideas for my daughter who has pet rats and loves all things ratty. :D
Never thought to go this route. Inspired!
I LOVE that mug, altho' I think I would love it much more full of pencils and sitting on my desk.
Or maybe to serve Evil SIL.....
um, that vegan soap freaks me out. Not in the rat sense but in the being stuck inside a bar of soap. Now I have a new nightmare...
I am going to purchase a rat bastards tomb right now! happy santa for my son.
okay, no every picture really creeped me out (minus the rat bastard book) .... but the vegan soap thing was especially creepy.
I must have the soap rats and I don't know why. I must also have the Rat Bastard book. I know exactly why.
It's fun over here!
Excellent.
My eight-year-old daughter refers to herself in the third person as "The Rat," so I'm always interested in rat (and duck) stuff. (She loves ducks.)
