Submit A Weblog Entry to Five Star Friday


How It Works:

  • You read a weblog entry that strikes you as fantastic, be it about parenting, sports, knitting, or the latest technological wonder. You think to yourself Hmmm, this weblog entry is top notch. I should submit it to Five Star Friday.
  • You nominate said weblog entry to Five Star Friday via Twitter (see instructions below, if needed).
  • I, Schmutzie, decide whether or not it is of Five Star Friday's higher calibre with regard to spelling, grammar, and general interestingness.
  • All submissions will be treated as anonymous.
  • Any submissions that promote hate or are visually pornographic will not be accepted.


    • Guidelines:

  • Ask yourself if the weblog entry in question is indeed awesome. If it is, proceed with your submission.
  • The weblog entry must be written by someone else. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR OWN WRITING.
  • The weblog entry's age does not matter. I am asking for quality over chronology.
  • Send links to individual weblog entry URLs only. If I am sent a link to an entire weblog and not a particular entry within that weblog, I will not use it.
  • In the interest of giving everyone equal billing and keeping my job as simple as possible, please limit your submissions to one URL per weblog.


    • How To Submit A Weblog Post To Five Star Friday:

  • Find a weblog post that strikes you with its fabulosity. The post can be from any time since the birth of weblogs.
  • Sign in or sign up to Twitter.
    (The reason I insist on using Twitter for communication is that, otherwise, my e-mail inbox would rear up, smack its greasy lips, and swallow me whole We can't have that.)
  • Go to Five Star Friday's Twitter page and click the "follow" button (if you're in the mood to follow).
  • Send @FiveStarFriday a message that need only include the url to the weblog post you want to nominate.
  • Your submission is complete!

    • The reason I only want to take submissions via Twitter is because my e-mail inbox is a mess, and I don't want to lose any of the greatness that you guys have to offer. If you have any problems figuring out how to message me on Twitter, I will accept submissions by e-mail at fivestarfriday at gmail dot com.
