let's abuse this place
let's eat things whole
let's get fat like a Christmas ham
we'll get high
and fuck kitchen utensils
and try out that cat food for kicks
we'll count our scars
and make some more
and then shave off every inch of pubic hair
and pretend we are nine again
because we are
or we can be
if we pretend that time can't make more of a mess
than we ever could
with some tools and a little muscle
there is nothing we can't be
when we make shit up
when we close our lids
when we stop thinking this ain't happening
when we just give in and make like fire

Damn. Stop listening to the body. Mine's always shouting stuff like that. Hard thing to get away from, your own body.
