Secret Heart Notes

I heart u
taken with Instagram

I wrote heart notes on the walls of our first purchased home last week before I hid them under two coats of paint. The rest are all secrets that I keep, little embedded pieces of hope and love.

I know someone who did this on her soon-to-be-covered-over plywood floors. Secret messages of love and encouragement. Adore this.
Last week I did an experiment: set out a box of chalk on the sidewalk. Wrote in turquoise "random act of sidewalk art" & drew a picture-frame around several sidewalk squares, some with the word "go!" in green above. Very few people picked up the chalk. Going to try the park next time.
Happy new home you. xo

When sophia and I moved into our rental house, they were repaving the street outside, and we scribbled something into the concrete before it hardened. It is still there!
