"I'm bored" is a useless thing to say. I mean, you live in a great, big, vast world that you've seen none percent of. Even the inside of your own mind is endless, it goes on forever, inwardly, do you understand? The fact that you're alive is amazing, so you don't get to say "I'm bored."Enjoy the fare, leave comments to tip your respective hosts, and tell your friends.

Happy Friday!
"A Pawn In the Pawn Shop of Life" from Trudging Through the Fire:
Looking back now I wish I wasn't such a dick. People never warn you to be nice to people on your way down. The fact that I could pay my utility bills and got to carry a gun, went to my head. It wasn't too long before I couldn't do either, and I was the one trying to pawn a German Army helmet. Hey, now that I think of it, that was the most interesting thing I ever saw being brought in to pawn — a German Army helmet. I got two dollars for it. They burned my ass and I took it. I needed it to drink. I just remembered that I even did a little song and dance to sell it, like Gaylord used to do."Hey, Pamie: 'Is it okay that I’m a blogger?'" from Pamie
"Hostess" from Dooce
"Things I Like: Weight Lifting" from Thinking Too Much:
There is no way I am ever going to look like what my culture says I am supposed to look like. For one thing, to weight what I am “supposed” to weigh I would have to lose two hundred pounds. And then keep it off in some non-damaging way."Eight Minutes Down the Road" from sweet | salty
Uh-uh. Ain’t happening.
But I can curl my daughter when she balances on my palms. I can pick a kid up with one arm and swing them around. I can do things, lift and carry things. I can use my body in ways that please me. I am strong.
"Grow Up, America" from Flux Capacitor
"Fight For Your Ideas" by Jon Morrow at Copyblogger:
You have to realize that your blog is more than just a collection of ones and zeros floating through cyberspace. It’s more than the words on the page. Your blog is a launchpad for your ideas, and you are the rocket fuel that lifts them off the ground."Visiting Rowan Oak" from Deb On the Rocks
So burn it up, baby.
