Have Love To Share? Share A Square!

Help to keep kids warm at Camp SanguinityShelly Kneupper Tucker is "searching for people with big hearts", and I am pitching in to help out by making buttons such as the one at the left. Her goal is to build approximately 140 afghans out of donated granny squares for children with cancer and blood disorders at Camp Sanguinity. That means that she has to collect 6,720 granny squares from us to be able to gift each camper with their own blanket.

If you know how to crochet or are willing to learn how to crochet or know someone else who crochets or have a website and would like to advertise this worthy project, go check out Shelley's pitch and instructions for participation in this worthy cause.

Feel free to use the following badges to promote the Share A Square campaign. I have provided the code for you. Just remember to remove the three asterisks (*) when you install it so that it works in your template or entry.

These are so wonderful! Thank you for putting together some choices for people AND for putting in the html so they can easily post. I can never do that part right.
I appreciate your support with the project. We are getting tons of good response!
Thanks, again!

Because I'm an idiot and don't know how to do this right. The only thing that kept showing up when I put it in a text widget was the code, no pic.

So, I went to the orig. site and used hers.

Someday I'll figure it out.

Or not.

Well, I'm feeling like such a smarty pants right now.

I figured out two things:

I picked the wrong size (too big) and hence, used the wrong code.

Also, the JPG, I think, was coded wrong. I removed the extra ".jpg" and it worked fine.

Thanks again Schmutzie!!!!!

Thanks, Tee! I have fixed the code now. Oops.

I love crochet and I love kids. So I am in. The buttons are awesome. I used one on my website, but I am new at this posting/web stuff and don't know how to a link back. But I did manage to put your link in the entry.

I hope you don't mind - but I borrowed your idea for putting the code to the other buttons for the project on my blog.

I figure the more people that spread the word the better!

What a great project to be involved in - also btw your banners are very nice!
